JUNIPER
Cafe / Restaurant - Carlton, VIC
For Juniper, I led the creative direction from early concept through to launch, shaping how the café would present itself both within the space and to the surrounding South Melbourne streetscape. Working closely with the owners and project team, I helped define a calm, contemporary identity that reflected Juniper’s neighbourhood focus and all day offering.
My role covered brand development, marketing direction and interior design collaboration, working alongside architects and builders throughout the fit out. A key part of the project was designing and implementing building and wayfinding signage, ensuring Juniper had a strong, considered presence from the street through to the interior experience.
I also designed the website, directed and styled photography, briefed illustrators and creatives, and developed marketing content to support the opening and ongoing promotion of the café. From digital to physical touchpoints, every element was designed to feel cohesive and intentional. The result is a confident, well resolved café brand that feels embedded in its local community and clearly communicates its identity from first glance to final detail.
